Did you know that dragonflies smile? I didn't either until this grinning orange insect flew into my garden and landed on a branch overhanging my pond. I rushed inside to grab my camera and captured this image of it smiling sweetly for the camera.

I developed my love for photography through documenting landscaping changes in my tiny backyard. My casual snapshots soon evolved into a passion.
